Cancellation
We understand that sometimes things change, and you may want to change or reduce your child’s sessions at preschool, or to cancel their place altogether. If this happens, please try to give as much notice as possible of the change. We will only charge a cancellation fee where we have to, usually as a result of late or short notice, and where we cannot fill the space with a child from our waiting list.
For children already attending preschool
You must give one term's notice (based on a 6-term year and a maximum of 7 weeks in any one term) to reduce the number of sessions attended or cancel your child's place. If you give notice while Preschool is closed (e.g. during the Preschool holidays), this will not take effect until the start of the subsequent term.
If you do not give the required notice you will be charged a cancellation fee. This is made up of the total cost of the booked Preschool sessions which you are cancelling (up to a maximum of 7 weeks’ fees), minus any notice period that you may have given. Preschool holidays are not counted as part of any notice period.
For children who have not yet started preschool
If you wish to cancel your child’s place and there is more than one term between the date of registration and your child’s proposed start date, you should give one term’s notice, or pay a cancellation fee as explained above.
If there is less than one term between the date of registration and your child’s proposed start date, you have a two-week cooling off period, during which you can cancel your child’s place without charge. Cancelling after this date will incur a cancellation fee of the cost of three weeks’ booked sessions.
